Blogger Collaboration | Black & Gold

Today, the lovely blogger, Grace of Gracefullee Made blog and I have teamed up to share a fun collaboration we did with black and gold! I love this color combo for many reasons, but what I love most is that they are the colors of my alma mater, the Mizzou Tigers! Black and gold remind me of the gold 'ol days when I woke up at 11 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for Spanish class, then went to an awesome Literature class where I got to talk about inspiring things I'd read and sip on lattes all the time. Those days are long gone, but hey, at least today is Friday! Happy weekend, lovelies.

Wearing

Today I'm styling my favorite plaid scarf from Zara two ways for our second Bloggers Who Budget series. I've worn it a million times this season and can't wait to keep it in my closet as a staple piece for Fall! The price point ($30) is absolutely amazing, so I couldn't pass up this fabulous piece. Happy Monday, fashionistas! I've been dying to break out some of my more summery, spring lately! I went out on a limb when wearing this with my faux leather jacket… typically I don't pair neons and dark colors…instead I just pair neon with more neon, or pastels. I tried it on with a denim jacket at first, but wanted to be a little more risky! I absolutely adore drop waist dresses, but honestly feel as though they're made for women who don't have as much as a waist. I am more curvy than flat in the hips, so it could be better, but could be worse! Either way, I'm in love with the color combo of this ensemble. Hope you have a lovely week!

Happy Monday, friends! It's that time again- the beginning of a new week. Monday's usually make me nostalgic for the weekend, but sometimes I'm ready to tackle them and wake up super energized. I guess it just depends on the week! Anyway, I've loved camo + leopard combo since a few seasons ago, and I konw i've styled it before on the blog…but it's a timeless combination, what can I say? This particular outfit was styled in an effort to incorporate a little bit of Fall in the scorching temperatures we've had here lately. The sleeveless peplum top is much more manageable than the darling, cozy sweater I'd prefer to wear. Oh well, it will soon be Fall here too :)

Also, shout out to those fashionistas who braved the crowds to snatch up some items 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection! I really really loved the bags- I can't say that I was too overly crazy about the clothing though! Anyway, here's what I purchased today: 1 / 2 / 3
