Cozy & Pink

December 02, 2013

Happy Monday, lovely ladies!  Another work week has approached us, and it's crazy to think that there is only three weeks left until Christmas!  The holidays are my favorite time of year, so I am especially enjoying this time doing lots of fun DIY crafts at work and at home!

I adored styling this flowy, geometric-print, boxy-feeling sweater! I was super lucky to have Fringe & Lace contact me right around the time that I was about to purchase one just like it!  This sweater is super soft, and ridiculously warm! I envision styling it with a chambray top or even a burgundy color top and dark wash boyfriend jeans with peep toe booties for an edgier look.  The loose and relaxed feel of the sweater, especially with this outfit, makes me feel super boho-chic (which isn't something I feel very often!) I got really excited when I ordered the sweater and knew right away that I wanted to pair it with my triangle necklace. This gorgeous gold accessory was handmade in India and I purchased it from my favorite Cleobella boutique in Huntington Beach!

Stay tuned for an amazing giveaway by Fringe & Lace this week! Until then, you should definitely check out their site! I'm loving this sweater as well!

Herringbone // Dots

November 11, 2013

Happy Monday, fashionistas.  I hope you're having a fabulous day so far.  I'm here to share an outfit that I wore a couple of weeks ago when I went apple picking for Fall!  Our day was glorious… there was cider donuts, apple cider, every type of fresh apple you can imagine, and even apple pie.  It was absolutely wonderful to catch some fresh air in the gorgeous mountains.  It was sort of chilly since we were so high up, so I was able to use a little layering action.  Do you think print-mixing will every be "out" again? I feel like it's been an ongoing trend for many seasons now.  I hope it's here to stay, as it's one of my favorite aspects of styling an outfit!

Have a great week! Thank you so much for reading!

Fall Is In The Air

October 06, 2013

Happy Sunday, fashionistas!  I'm getting ready to enjoy a whole week off work for Fall break! I can't wait to sip some pumpkin spice lattes, pick apples, eat cider donuts, and rest a little bit too!  I hope your week is full of love and joy, friends! xoxo.

p.s. don't forget to enter my awesome Jose Eber giveaway!

Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 11: Embellishments

October 02, 2013

Wearing: F21 sweatshirt | Old Navy pants | Tahari heels (similar) | 3.1 Phillip Lim For Target bag | Similar Sunglasses | Michael Kors Watch | Baublebar Twitter Nameplate Necklace | Macy's chain link bracelet (similar) | Stella & Dot renegade cluster bracelets | J.Crew leopard bangle (similar) | Revlon 'Plum Perfect' Lip Color

I love this outfit because it's comfortable, simple, and stylish. The burnt orange/burgundy hue of the pants combines perfectly with my mustard cross body bag. Also, I have to say that Old Navy has really stepped up their game lately! I'm finding myself putting lots of their Fall items on my wish list! And you can't beat the price.

By the way, Jacqueline and I are now asking the Spotlights we choose to co-host our link-ups! Dani of Love Me, Dani Marie is our very first co-host!

Happy Thursday, everyone! I'm such a fan of leather everything these days, but there's nothing as amazing as my classy, timeless leather jacket. I've styled it four times already and it's only September!  I cannot wait to see how everyone styled leather this week, especially since there are a few other link-ups whose theme is leather/faux leather!

Crop With A Pop

September 23, 2013

Wearing: H&M top (similar) | thrifted skirt (similar) | 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag | Nine West Heels (save/spend) | Macy's sequin cuff | Leather bracelet c/o Papa East Fashion | Target Tortoise Watch (similar) | House of Harlow Sunglasses | Baublebar Twitter Necklace

I've always wanted to try a crop top, but I'm not typically one to fork over a lot of money towards a trendy item.  So when I spotted this $5 crop top at H&M a few weeks ago, I knew it was meant to be.  I tried this crop top on with a few other pieces, but didn't seem to like it much with anything other than my pencil skirts!

It's funny because I walked out wearing this, and my husband just said, "That looks like something Jennifer Aniston would wear in Friends" (we watch a lot of Friends in my household… best 90's sitcom ever.)  I decided I'd take that as a compliment, then preceded to explain why I've been wearing overalls, tiny floral prints, and crop tops lately… don't you know that we're having 90's throwback trends here in 2013?!  Hope you all have an amazing week!

Pre-Fall Forever

September 15, 2013

Wearing: F21 top (similar) | Macy's pants (similar) | Nine West heels (similar) | bag c/o Oasap | Macy's chain bracelet (similar) | Michael Kors Watch | J.Crew leopard calf hair bracelet (similar) | gifted necklace | similar sunglasses | Essie nail color 'A-List'

Happy Monday, friends! It's that time again- the beginning of a new week.  Monday's usually make me nostalgic for the weekend, but sometimes I'm ready to tackle them and wake up super energized. I guess it just depends on the week!  Anyway, I've loved camo + leopard combo since a few seasons ago, and I konw i've styled it before on the blog…but it's a timeless combination, what can I say?  This particular outfit was styled in an effort to incorporate a little bit of Fall in the scorching temperatures we've had here lately.  The sleeveless peplum top is much more manageable than the darling, cozy sweater I'd prefer to wear.  Oh well,  it will soon be Fall here too :)

Also, shout out to those fashionistas who braved the crowds to snatch up some items 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collection! I really really loved the bags- I can't say that I was too overly crazy about the clothing though!  Anyway, here's what I purchased today: 1 / 2 / 3

Thanks so much for reading!  Have a fabulous day!
