I chose to style this gorgeous, mint and navy polka dot top with my favorite Madewell jeans. Would you believe this shirt is from the Target spring line last year?! I saw it and had to have it. There's a really cute bicycle print top that I'm in love with as well.  A button-up blouse paired with denim is a classic, crisp look for any weekend outting! As for the pearls and bow-toed kitten heels- they give this weekend look the perfect girly, feminine touch. I could also dress up this look for work with some printed or solid slacks or a pencil skirt.

Today, the lovely blogger, Grace of Gracefullee Made blog and I have teamed up to share a fun collaboration we did with black and gold!  I love this color combo for many reasons, but what I love most is that they are the colors of my alma mater, the Mizzou Tigers! Black and gold remind me of the gold 'ol days when I woke up at 11 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for Spanish class, then went to an awesome Literature class where I got to talk about inspiring things I'd read and sip on lattes all the time.  Those days are long gone, but hey, at least today is Friday! Happy weekend, lovelies.
