Hi loves! Today I'm styling yet another outfit featuring my favorite color as of late! R-E-D! Since Valentine's Day is coming up in a few weeks, I don't feel as bad about it! I love my Hunter boots and have been styling non-stop with my favorite basic outfits!

A Layering Trick

Hi lovelies! It's Monday again! I had such a great week last week though, so I'm not even a little upset! AND I cooked minestrone soup last night for my lunches this week! There's nothing like being prepared for a busy week. Anyway, I adore this combination because of the subtle flannel button-up detail on the sleeves and at the neckline in my favorite color of course... pink! Oh, and this dress only cost $12!!!

If you aren't familiar with a fun trick for layering allow me to enlighten you... First of all, this dress is a body con dress which means that it's SKIN TIGHT! Which means that usually you can see all of the buttons and creases that are inevitable when you're layering, but the trick I've learned is to actually do three layers, the button-up, tank top, then the dress! (or sweater) but either way the tank top smoothes out all of the creases and allows you to layer with even the tightest of dresses! I wish I could take credit for this idea, but alas, my dear Pinterest board never ceases to amaze me.

I really love this simple, yet comfortable outfit! I just styled a red tank under this blazer because it was still pretty hot out when I took these photos! This blazer is actually from last year, but I am still in total love with it! I styled it here with a plaid scarf, and it's still one of my favorite blog looks to this day! What are your favorite closet staple pieces that you happen to wear over and over again each year?

Snow Day

Hi loves! I'm super excited about sharing this outfit! Not only do I love red and black together, but I'm also a huge fan of the white, snowy background in these photos! I was superrrr cold, and actually layered two pairs of Pink Blush Maternity leggings because I knew I would be spending some time in the snow! I also have a black turtle neck, tank top, and my Tommy Hilfiger top on as well! Layers are key when you're in weather this cold... I'm just glad we got to drive back to our warm part of the country afterwards! Hope you have a fabulous Monday! xo.

Hi loves! Hope you're having a great week so far! I've been MIA working on lots of things before I go back to work on Monday! So sad... but I'm ready to tackle the new year. It's been REALLY cold lately especially for where I live, but I have found ways to stay warm and stylish. This sweater dress from dressbarn is one of my secrets. I love how it's layered with the similarly colored blanket scarf, and my olive booties for a little contrast. The Pink Blush maternity coat is my absolute favorite warm piece right now, but I've linked above to a non-maternity option for ya! Hope you have a lovely day! xo.

Hi ladies! Happy Thanksgiving week! I am taking some time to spend with family, and to appreciate all of the wonderful things I'm thankful for! Anyway, I wanted to share this darling outfit featuring a maxi dress from Avenle! I love that this dress is great for the summer months because it's a tank top and super flowy, but also for days that are a little chilly and call for a nice hot coffee! I paired it with a red cardigan and bright lip for this season! Have a lovely short week!
