Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 115: Stripes

November 11, 2015

Wearing: H&M long sleeve tee (so comfy and only $12.95) | Macy's puffer vest (super similar) | Similar pants | Nine West riding boots (similar) | Baublebar necklace (color: blonde marble) Tory Burch Robinson Mini Tote c/o Shopbop

Hi loves! Thank you so much for visiting Spotlight Weekly today! This week is all about the stripes. I paired this super affordable striped tee with my favorite puffer vest of all time! It's from Macy's in the women's section (you know.... where your grandma shops?) but I never would have guessed to find such a trendy printed puffer vest there! It was a total steal too - I got it while shopping with my Nana during Black Friday one year. I paired the two prints with my amazing mustard pants. I am in love with these comfortable things. I plan to wear them with allll of my Fall sweaters in the coming weeks.

The lovely Jacqueline and I post our link-ups every Thursday! This week our theme is stripes! Or you can pick any fashion/beauty related post to link up! Come back weekly to visit us!

Before Sunset

June 28, 2015

Wearing: Nordstrom top | Target denim (love these-on sale for $22!) | Tory Burch sandals (super on sale!) | Tory Burch bag | Michael Kors watchInPink 'Spotlight Rhinestone' bracelet c/o | Rocksbox 'shine' necklace c/o TAudrey'Autograph Name Plate Necklace' c/o

Hi loves! Happy Monday. I'm sharing a weekend outfit with you that was shot right before sunset! I love how the sky behind me is orangish-pink and you can make out the silhouette of the trees. We've been going on lots of evening walks lately and it makes for great appreciation of nature and all it's glory.

I want to take a second to rave about Target's denim leggings! These look like jeans, but feel like comfortable, moveable leggings. I'll admit this is my first time wearing jeans after baby and now I don't want to take them off, ever! They are super stretchy and form to your body type... (I have bigger thighs and have such a hard time finding denim that looks right) so I'm super happy with the $27  I spent on these pants (they're $22 now!), and now need them in a darker wash, and of course white for summer! I would recommend sizing up though since these are a legging! Let me know if you check them out. xo.

Currently Craving | Summer Sandals

April 28, 2015

Hi ladies! Just wanted to share some summer sandal inspiration on this lovely Tuesday! I am totally in love with all of these styles for summer! I've seen these styles in various stores, and I have already started my collection of summer sandals! I think the Vince espadrille sandals are probably my favorite at this point, and I may have to own them in every color! Notice the neutral trend I've got going on... sandals are a staple and must match with every outfit all the time! So, which are your favorite?

Tribal Print

April 27, 2015

Hi loves! Happy Monday ;) I'm sharing one of my last maternity looks! My maxi dress + denim jacket combo has been super played out, but I love that the pattern on this dress is unique! The navy and pink together are one of my favorite color combos. Can you believe this darling necklace from Jessica N Designs?! I thought it was perfect to wear the last few days of pregnancy to honor just J and I's time together before baby. I know that those days/weeks are pretty special!

Shopbop Sale | Spring Accessories

April 07, 2015

Hi loves! Have you heard about the Shopbop Friends & Family event yet! It started this morning and ends on April 10th, 4 AM EST! Shopbop is one of my favorite online shopping boutiques because they carry all of my favorite brands like Tory Burch and Kate Spade. I recently purchased the gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff sandals you see above, but I'm thinking I need them in every color! With 25% off because of the sale, I may just grab some darling Karen Walker sunglasses as well! It's about time for a new pair ;) The blush ones above are perfect for Spring! If you decide to grab something, let me know! I'd love to see what you get!

Happy shopping!

A Layering Trick

January 12, 2015

Hi lovelies! It's Monday again! I had such a great week last week though, so I'm not even a little upset! AND I cooked minestrone soup last night for my lunches this week! There's nothing like being prepared for a busy week. Anyway, I adore this combination because of the subtle flannel button-up detail on the sleeves and at the neckline in my favorite color of course... pink! Oh, and this dress only cost $12!!!

If you aren't familiar with a fun trick for layering allow me to enlighten you... First of all, this dress is a body con dress which means that it's SKIN TIGHT! Which means that usually you can see all of the buttons and creases that are inevitable when you're layering, but the trick I've learned is to actually do three layers, the button-up, tank top, then the dress! (or sweater) but either way the tank top smoothes out all of the creases and allows you to layer with even the tightest of dresses! I wish I could take credit for this idea, but alas, my dear Pinterest board never ceases to amaze me.
