Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 119: Red/Green

Hi ladies! Today for Spotlight Weekly I chose to style a simple red, buffalo plaid top with my trusty herringbone vest. I swear I wear this thing like once a week all season long, and there are still tons of ways I haven't styled it! I think I may need to add a new one to my rotation with a monogram on it! #monogramalllllthethings. Anyway, I wanted to make this look girlier so I added my J.Crew Factory twisted pearl hammock necklace. This piece looks so Hepburnesque with dresses, but also makes a collared top look instantly better!

Lastly, I've been a huge fan of the mid/short skirt or dress plus over the knee boots look. It's not something I've been brave enough to try out, but now that it's a little more trendy/acceptable. I feel less like a stripper and more like a stylish mom, haha.

Hi loves! My outfit today is super simple, but it's very comfortable! Let's talk about these shoes for a second... I am adoring this slides trend this summer because they're just soooo comfortable! I've linked to lots of different options above, but the ones pictured have to be my favorite. I also paired them with some distressed boyfriend shorts and a white tee the other day for a casual, summer look! The possibilities are endless with slides :)

My necklace is a hand-stamped personalized piece from Jenny Present! The chain detail on it is super unique, and I love their tagline: "More than just an accessory; jewelry that tells a story" :) As a new mama, I absolutely adore wearing my sweet babe's name on my necklace! It reminds me of the day of her birth, which was one of the happiest days of my life! Here's a closer picture below... The cool thing about this line is that celebs love it too! Lady Liberty

Hi loves! Happy Monday! I'm starting off the week with a red, white, and blue look featuring this super modestly chic 'Liberty dress' from Mikarose Clothing. I love that the length is just right, and the cap sleeves give it some character! I'm typically a sleeveless dress kind of gal, but on this dress the sleeves are perfection. Without even thinking twice I reached for my trusty white ankle strap wedges. These shoes have been on constant repeat since last summer, and pretty much match everything I wear... I really love this simple, yet comfortable outfit! I just styled a red tank under this blazer because it was still pretty hot out when I took these photos! This blazer is actually from last year, but I am still in total love with it! I styled it here with a plaid scarf, and it's still one of my favorite blog looks to this day!
