Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 96: Red, White, and Blue + Giveaway!

July 01, 2015

Hi loves! My outfit today is super simple, but it's very comfortable! Let's talk about these shoes for a second... I am adoring this slides trend this summer because they're just soooo comfortable! I've linked to lots of different options above, but the ones pictured have to be my favorite. I also paired them with some distressed boyfriend shorts and a white tee the other day for a casual, summer look! The possibilities are endless with slides :)

My necklace is a hand-stamped personalized piece from Jenny Present! The chain detail on it is super unique, and I love their tagline: "More than just an accessory; jewelry that tells a story" :) As a new mama, I absolutely adore wearing my sweet babe's name on my necklace! It reminds me of the day of her birth, which was one of the happiest days of my life! Here's a closer picture below... The cool thing about this line is that celebs love it too! Giuliana Rancic (i'm a huge fan!) wore this necklace with her sweet new babe's name on it. If you're a mama or know someone who's going to be soon, check out the Proud Mama collection at Jenny Present! Lots of great gifts there! See the graphic below - they are having a Fourth of July sale and they're also offering Living in Color readers 20% off with the code BIGFAN. Not interested in buying today? That's okay cause I've got a fabulous giveaway for you!
Since you guys are my favorites, I asked to team up with Jenny Present to give away one of these necklaces you see above! If you don't have a baby don't worry! You can get your name hand-stamped on it or the name of your significant other! I love my puppy so much, I'd probably get his name on there if I didn't have a baby now lol. See giveaway details below! Giveaway runs until July 10th! Open to U.S. only!
The lovely Jacqueline and I post our link-ups every Thursday! This week our theme is red, white, and blue! Or you can pick any fashion/beauty related post to link up! Come back weekly to visit us! (Click after the break to link-up!)

Ode to Red, White, and Blue

June 26, 2015

Hi loves! I wanted to share some of my favorite past red, white, and blue looks! I am guilty of styling this patriotic combo in the winter months too, but a majority of these are summer outfits that can easily be recreated next weekend! What plans do you guys have for the 4th? J and I are going to take our new sweet babe to see fire works and will probably end up grilling something delicious at home. Luckily he gets the third off too so we'll have a nice long weekend :)

Hello July

Happy Fourth of July week!  I wanted to share with you a little early what I'll most likely be wearing on the fourth of July!  If you're a frequent reader of Living in Color Style, you know that dresses are my "go-to" piece in my closet.  This gorgeous patterned frock is PERFECT for the holiday week.  Don't get me wrong, a pair of cutoff shorts in american flag print are great… but not really my style.  We'll consider this a classier more sophisticated holiday look.  With the strands of pearls, fun arm candy, and 'not-too-high' pumps, we've achieved a comfortable, chic look for the 4th of July.  Have I mentioned how amazing the shape of this dress?!  Super feminine!  Tomorrow I'm excited to announce a little something I've been put together for my readers with Vanessa McCall Boyle of Stella & Dot.  Thank you so much for reading!
