Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Free Week

January 27, 2016

I hate to keep posting such Spring-y outfits, especially with all the snow back East, but I think I'm just super in love with all of my new dresses! This is a LuLaRoe 'Julia' dress, and seriously, I put this thing on, and the fit is PERFECT. It hugs in all the right places and is long enough for this modest mama. The only thing I wish is that it were more nursing friendly!

The lovely Jacqueline and I post our link-ups every Thursday! This week our theme is a free week or you can pick any fashion/beauty related post to link up! Come back weekly to visit us!

Mama Style With Motherhood Maternity and Bumble Collection

October 25, 2015

Hi loves! Happy Monday! So excited to share this outfit. I've had so many questions about what to wear if you're nursing, so I've teamed up with Motherhood Maternity this week to share Fall style ideas for nursing mommas! I used to be a "dresses only" type of girl, but now that I'm a momma, I love styling jeans - a pair of distressed jeans makes my outfit look less 'mom-ish' and more chic, so I've always got some destroyed denim ready to wear! I paired these Free People jeans with a Jessica Simpson nursing top from Motherhood Maternity - it's a wrap style top, so it easily folds over for easy access! I also adore the Fall color of this top, and how it pairs easily with this Forever 21 scarf and velvety suede booties from Hush Puppies!

These Hush Puppies 'Cyra Catelyn' booties have little wedges in them to elongate your legs, but they look (and feel) like lace-up tennies! They are sooo comfortable and easy to walk in too. I wore them to the pumpkin patch with J and my little one this past weekend.

Lastly, I am stoked to share my new love with you: Bumble Collection! This brand has so many baby-friendly products; from gorgeous diaper bags to cute little play mats, and even matching coolers to store milk or food. I am so impressed with the quality of these products, and you can tell that mamas thought of the designs because there are so many little pockets and crevices to put things in! I also love that the outside of the bag is a cute print, but made out of a nice fabric that can be easily wiped off! I'll be sharing new products from Bumble Collection every month, and this Brittany back pack is the first! It can be used three different ways - as a side/shoulder bag, as a tote with the shorter straps, or (my personal favorite) as a backpack! Superrr convenient, and the bags are lightweight. Let's just say I haven't picked up my Petunia Picklebottom diaper bag since trying this one out! ;)

Have a great week!

Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 96: Red, White, and Blue + Giveaway!

July 01, 2015

Wearing: Macy's shirtdress (love this one!) | Target sandals (amazing price!) | Rebecca Minkoff bag | similar sunglasses | Michael Kors watchInPink Pave Link bracelet c/o | Jenny Present personalized handstamped necklace c/o

Hi loves! My outfit today is super simple, but it's very comfortable! Let's talk about these shoes for a second... I am adoring this slides trend this summer because they're just soooo comfortable! I've linked to lots of different options above, but the ones pictured have to be my favorite. I also paired them with some distressed boyfriend shorts and a white tee the other day for a casual, summer look! The possibilities are endless with slides :)

My necklace is a hand-stamped personalized piece from Jenny Present! The chain detail on it is super unique, and I love their tagline: "More than just an accessory; jewelry that tells a story" :) As a new mama, I absolutely adore wearing my sweet babe's name on my necklace! It reminds me of the day of her birth, which was one of the happiest days of my life! Here's a closer picture below... The cool thing about this line is that celebs love it too! Giuliana Rancic (i'm a huge fan!) wore this necklace with her sweet new babe's name on it. If you're a mama or know someone who's going to be soon, check out the Proud Mama collection at Jenny Present! Lots of great gifts there! See the graphic below - they are having a Fourth of July sale and they're also offering Living in Color readers 20% off with the code BIGFAN. Not interested in buying today? That's okay cause I've got a fabulous giveaway for you!
Since you guys are my favorites, I asked to team up with Jenny Present to give away one of these necklaces you see above! If you don't have a baby don't worry! You can get your name hand-stamped on it or the name of your significant other! I love my puppy so much, I'd probably get his name on there if I didn't have a baby now lol. See giveaway details below! Giveaway runs until July 10th! Open to U.S. only!

Lalabu Soothe Shirt

June 01, 2015

Hi loves! I'm super excited to share this outfit - it's one of my go-to's lately since Kangaroo care (aka baby-wearing) is officially my new favorite thing. I paired my Lalabu soothe shirt with a denim skirt from Old Navy for a "I'm totally a mom, but I can look put together" look ;) I love how the Panama hat compliments my espadrilles! Make sure to check out my link above - these shoes come in 3 different colors and are only $19! I've been wearing them on repeat. Total summer steal...

Also, a quick note to my moms or mommy-to-be's on Kangaroo Care. I literally put my baby into this soothe shirt and she falls asleep immediately! I always heard that as a mom you can never get anything done because baby will want to be held all the time (like that's a bad thing?!) but I literally have not had this problem at all because I just wear my baby to do everything - besides cook... haha but she gets daddy time while I cook dinner. However, grocery shopping, mall-walking, laundry doing, even watching TV, I get to have my sweet babe right close to my heart, right where she belongs!

Bloggers Who Budget | Florals Under Fifty

May 17, 2015

Wearing: Lilly for Target dress (similar) | Lilly for Target wedges (similar) | Similar bag | Similar sunglasses | InPink 'Spotlight' bracelet c/o | InPink Pave Link bracelet c/o | Uppababy stroller

Hi loves! Well, I had the baby! She is a perfect angel and we've never been so in love with her. If you missed it, check out her nursery here! Anyway, today for this installment of Bloggers Who Budget, we're styling 'Florals Under Fifty' and I've had this dress for around a month and haven't been able to wear it due to a giant pregnant belly! I was super happy to have fit into it! I've linked to some other options that are similar above! This one was a little more affordable ($38) because of the Target collab, but the other ones aren't too badly priced! Have a fabulous week! xoxo.
