Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 95: Pop of Color

June 24, 2015

Wearing: Old Navy dress | Lilly Pulitzer for Target wedges (similar) | Coach bag (love this one!) | Target belt (similar) | InPink deco burst bracelet c/o | similar sunglasses

Hi loves! Today our trend is pops of color, so I took a simple black and white dress and added a super bright flower and bag! What color better than pink, right? Since I love pink and gold together, I went with some gold accessories as well! The belt and the shoes make the outfit look more complete!

One thing I struggle with about dresses like this is that they aren't fitted so it just kind of hangs on me, which is why I cinch it at the waist with a belt, and it makes it look much better! Something I love about this dress is that it buttons up, so it's easy for nursing. I've been wearing button up dresses/tops, or jus tank tops with some black cargo pants... some of my favorites are here. Black pants are just easy as a mom these days... haha I don't dare brave white. Not yet ;)

The lovely Jacqueline and I post our link-ups every Thursday! This week our theme is pops of color! Or you can pick any fashion/beauty related post to link up! Come back weekly to visit us! (Click after the break to link-up!)

Mrs. Casual

June 21, 2015

Hi loves! I'm posting this casual summer look that's EXCLUSIVELY from Old Navy because everything in their store this season is on point! This relaxed v-neck tee is one of my favorites. I may or may not own it in three colors/prints! Also, if you are like me and don't want shorts that are super mom-ish looking but want to dress your age, these 3.5 inch pull-on chambray shorts are perfect for summer! I feel modest but not frumpy in these, and they're super lightweight! Lastly, can we talk about these amazing cross-strap slides?! The snakeskin is right up my ally because no matter how hard I try, I can't stop buying this print... even if it is ever considered 'out' ;)

Okay, so that's my outfit, now hey all you moms and mamas to be out there! If you're on the market for a carseat canopy, then look no further! This piece that you see on my babe's Uppababy carseat is from Hemmed In, and not only is it an amazing, protective carseat canopy, but it also serves as a tummy time play mat and a nursing cover! Both of which I've taken advantage of many times! Anything that keeps my diaper bag from filling up with things that could serve multiple uses is a favorite of mine for sure! There are some super darling prints in store, and be sure to check out their Instagram because Wendy, the sweet lady behind Hemmed In, posts videos about the piece on Mondays! Thank me later ;)

Pregnancy Collaboration | Spring Forward

March 08, 2015

Hi loves! Happy Monday! I'm glad to be collaborating with some other lovely ladies to show off our pregnancy style with our gorgeous accessories from Le Boutique Shop! I am literally swooning over this Malory necklace and plan on styling it with so many different outfits! Oh, and let's talk about this gorgeous dress! I am seriously in love with this flowy, cotton maxi dress. My husband seemed to think I looked like a bride in it, but I added the denim jacket and sandals to make it seem more casual and weekend-appropriate! Hope you have a fabulous day!

A Week of Plaid | Flannel

November 02, 2014

Hi lovelies! I'm super excited that November is here. The holidays are my absolute favorite time of year. (I'm sure I'm not the only one...) so, I'm starting this November off right by sharing my favorite looks that feature plaid! The week of plaid starts today - stop by daily this week to get your dose of the season's hottest trend!

Windowpane // Leopard Print Extravaganza

October 12, 2014

Wearing: Old Navy dress (similar) | Macy's vest (similar) Also linked to one below... it's a kids vest, but you can try to order a L or XL - such a great price! | 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag (similar) | Bandolino shoes via TJMaxx (similar) | My Flat in London bow bangle | Similar Watch | Similar Sunglasses

Hello lovely ladies! I hope you had a long and relaxing weekend! It's Monday, but we're well-rested, fueled by coffee, and ready tackle a new week, right?! Haha, well some of us :) I'm not sure if I'm quite there yet... maybe in a couple more hours. Anyway, I'm majorly inlove with this outfit. I can't decide if I like it so much because the old ladies at the grocery store secretly shook their head in disbelief after they saw me mixing window-pane and leopard print, or if I like it so much because it looks fabulous against the pink-ish background! Either way, it's one of my favorites. I've found myself having to seriously think about what I wear when getting dressed these days- with a growing waistline, the options in my closet are slowly lessening. I'm sure I'll start dipping into some maternity-wear soon!

Have a lovely week!

Casual Cool

July 01, 2014

Happy Tuesday, loves! Today I styled a casual outfit for over the weekend. I love that denim skirts are coming back. They are so comfortable, and pretty stylish as well! I paired this skirt with a slouchy baseball tee, because they look casual but clean. Anyway, this is one of my more simple outfits, but I like to keep the blog authentic and really share with you what I wear each day! Have a fabulous week!
