Happy Thursday! Thanks for stopping by the Spotlight Weekly Link-Up! I chose a simple summer outfit for today's post to highlight a pair of my favorite summer wedges. This basic striped skirt, and kelly green top are a match made in heaven! This is the first green shirt I've purchased in a really long time- I forgot how much I like it! I stuck with minimal accessories, because let's just face it… these summer days are getting HOT! Can't wait to see how you styled your wedges, ladies!

Hello lovelies! I have to say, I've become smitten with a particular print these past few weeks: Pineapples! Not only do my students love it (who lives in a pineapple under the sea?!) but the sweet, subtle hint of summer is right on my shirt wherever I go! I liked the shade of the little green stems if you look up close, but I don't own anything that color, so I opted for a darker green. Simple cognac accessories and girly pearls made this outfit easily versatile! Which this blog is all about in my opinion. Style through the eyes of a teacher, and an every-day girl. Enjoy your week! Happy Thursday lovelies! This outfit is the perfect idea of a casual weekend date ensemble! Yes, my stye is more simplistic than "bam!" these days, but that's how I like it. Sure it's fun to experiment, but my love for classic, timeless style is never-ending. As for the handbag in this post, I had a crisis this past weekend. I couldn't decide which staple bag I should buy- [thanks to the amazing ladies on Instagram that helped me narrow it down!) This darling, black Rebecca Minkoff M.A.B. bag is amazing for all seasons, but so is the cognac Tory Burch Robinson tote. Therefore, with the help of some fashionable ladies, I decided I need both of them, and just like that, with the help of some Nordstrom gift cards, I was the owner of two more amazing, staple designer handbags! I can't wait to see how you styled stripes!
