Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 100: Chambray

Hey ladies! Thanks for visiting the blog today! We are celebrating 100 Link-Ups with a blogger favorite: chambray! I am in love with anything chambray, so when I spotted this BP top during the #Nsale, I had to have it! It comes in four colors and is super soft! I had to get a Large (which really feels more like a medium!) and while I love how soft and versatile it is, I must admit that it wrinkles easy - luckily I'm not one to have the iron or steamer out 24/7, so I can live with it! Just a heads up ;)

All the pieces I'm wearing, other than my Tory Burch bag are under $60 so you should definitely do some quick shopping if you'd like to recreate this outfit! I'm all about budget buys these days, as I'm currently trying to get back to my pre-pregnancy sizes and want to minimize the amount of clothing I buy until then! Hope you're having a fabulous week!

Feeling Blue

Happy Wednesday, ladies! Today, I'm sharing an outfit with you that was inspired by a monochromatic look I saw recently- I haven't styled an outfit in all one color for a while, so I decided to start with this blue top as the canvas, and work my way down. Something I love about this top is that it's super lightweight, and the neckline has a little more character than a simple tank top. I added the patterned skirt and striped wedges on a whim, and ended up loving the combo. Subtle pattern mixing is my favorite! I will also pair this top with white skinny jeans once the weather starts cooling down! Have a fabulous day, girls! xo.

Hello lovely ladies! I am officially excited for our honeymoon! It will be such a blast to kick back and relax before another very busy and fun year. I am so thankful for life. Some days I just wake up, and I feel nothing but joyous over the idea that I get to live in this world another day. We all get discouraged, but keep that positive attitude going! There is always a better time ahead.

Anyway, I styled this darling little vintage dress (that I thrifted for $5!) as my chambray piece because it's super simple and classic. I love the shift dress look and how the denim makes it classic-looking. I went with minimal accessories like my gold InPink bar necklace and my vintage coach station bag to give it a "put-together" look but not take away from the focus of the dress.

Beauty in Simplicity

Happy Monday, beautiful people! This is one of my favorite summer outfits because it's one piece, and requires very minimal thought when getting ready! I simply adore dresses and rompers because you put it on, accessorize it with shoes, a necklace, and bag, and you're ready to go! I went with a white and neutral palatte for this light blue beauty. They make this in a darker chambray as well, and I've TOTALLY got my eye on it for these warm fall days where I live ;) I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Happy Thursday lovelies! This outfit is the perfect idea of a casual weekend date ensemble! Yes, my stye is more simplistic than "bam!" these days, but that's how I like it. Sure it's fun to experiment, but my love for classic, timeless style is never-ending. As for the handbag in this post, I had a crisis this past weekend. I couldn't decide which staple bag I should buy- [thanks to the amazing ladies on Instagram that helped me narrow it down!) This darling, black Rebecca Minkoff M.A.B. bag is amazing for all seasons, but so is the cognac Tory Burch Robinson tote. Therefore, with the help of some fashionable ladies, I decided I need both of them, and just like that, with the help of some Nordstrom gift cards, I was the owner of two more amazing, staple designer handbags! I can't wait to see how you styled stripes!

Happy Thursday everyone! I must say - I don't believe that there's anything more Springy than a denim jacket! (Besides floral maybe…) I wore this simple outfit with my amazing and versatile fedora and patterned wedges to do some serious leg-elongating...That's a thing, right?
