Hi beautiful friends! The #BloggersWhoBudget are back styling floral print this month! I'm sharing a few ideas on cute, festive dresses for Easter! The best way to dress up for church or Easter brunch is with a Springy dress, that way you don't have to worry about putting together an outfit in the early morning! I love throwing a dress on, and calling it a day!

This specific dress is from LOFT, and it's a couple years old, but I've linked to TONS of similar options above, ranging from pastel, to floral print, to darling polka dots. With one of the options, you're sure to look fabulous next weekend for Easter!

What are some fun Easter traditions you like to do with your family? I know dying eggs and the Easter egg hunt are the typical ones. Anything unique? We're starting new traditions with Grace each holiday, and it's been fun experiencing all of the firsts.

Lucky FABB Series: Day 1 Outfit

April 10, 2013

Wearing:
Dress: BBDakota
Blazer: Forever 21 (similar)
Wedges: Franco Sarto via Nordstrom
Necklace: LOFT (in store and on sale!)
Pave Link Bracelet: J.Crew
Arrow Bangle: gift (similar)
Watch: Michael Kors

I would be lying if I said I didn't put a lot of thought into this outfit for Day 1 of Lucky FABB (Lucky Magazine's Fashion and Beauty Blogger Conference), but it's so true. I knew I wanted to be bright, colorful, and springy! Mint and floral was my absolute first choice, and this gorgeous BBDakota dress was an absolute steal! It's very affordable, and I love the detail on the hem and its' flowy chiffon material. I would definitely recommend it for a summer wedding or any sort of party! It's got dainty, little spaghetti straps, you just can't see them in this post!

I've also been wearing the LOFT necklace I bought a few weeks ago with EVERYTHING! It's lightweight, and neutral, but makes a subtle statement with almost every outfit I've paired it with. Lastly, I'd like to address my never-ending love affair with the classic legacy Coach cross body bag. I've only purchased vintage cognac brown ones up until this point, but I decided that I needed a gorgeous Spring color to tote around my keys, wallet, and lip color. The Penny bag in mint is not only a gorgeous color, but it also matches my blogger business cards ;) (a total plus!)

I really hope that you're having an amazing week, I just wanted to take the time to let you know, as a reader that I appreciate you! My next post over the weekend will be a Recap of my Day 1 Lucky FABB experience. It includes lots of helpful information that I learned about being a blogger! I've got lots of notes that I'm prepared to share with you- it will almost be like you were there with me! That's what I'm aiming for anyway.

Bright and Cheery

Wearing:
Dress: c/o eShakti
Blazer: boutique in Orange County
Wedges: Target (similar)

Leopard Bangle: J.Crew (similar)
Watch: Michael Kors
Pave Link Bracelet: J.Crew
Nails: 'Sally Hansen' Mint Sorbet

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to attend Lucky FABB. I had an absolute blast meeting lots of bloggers, and hanging out with some gorgeous girls I already know. I was also able to hear very inspirational speakers and presenters and the ins and outs of blogging! I cannot wait to share! I'll be posting my first Lucky FABB post later this week! Anyway, how bright and fun is this dress?! What you can't see is the gorgeous sweetheart neckline, but I have a feeling I'll be wearing it many more times this Spring and Summer. The dress is actually custom made for me courtesy of eShakti.com, a retro inspired clothing website! I just had to enter my measurements, and a week later, I had a darling dress that fit like a glove. There were so many pieces that I wanted to get, but a lot of them were already sold out. However, I saw the floral print on a bright backdrop, and knew I had to have this one. The A-line waist and light cotton fabric are my favorite part of the dress, I think!

Anyway, I'm not sure if you have heard that Google Friend Connect is going away, but that's the word on the street! Just in case, I don't want to lose you as a lovely reader of my blog. If you haven't switched over already, feel free to follow me on Bloglovin'! Thank you so much for reading!

Hello readers! We'll keep it short and sweet with a "Happy Monday", and a "thank God for tights when it's freezing outside, but I want to wear a dress to pretend it's not Winter." March is on it's way though! Also, I adore the hem on this dress and plan to wear every dress or skirt with a non-traditional hem this season. What's your favorite trend for Spring 2012? I think we can all agree that neon is pretty versatile and fun!
xo.
