Hello lovely ladies! Thank you for visiting Spotlight Weekly link-up! Today we are styling camo as our trend! Camo is super popular every year, so I keep my pieces and reuse them each time the weather cools off! I love how all three of us styled camo in a different way too. What's your favorite camo piece? We can't wait to see!

The lovely Jacqueline and I post our link-ups every Thursday! This week our theme is camo! Or you can pick any fashion/beauty related post to link up! Come back weekly to visit us! (Click after the break to link-up!)

Hello lovely ladies! Thank you for visiting Spotlight Weekly link-up! Today we are styling leather as our trend, and I'm super excited to share my camo/leather look with a pencil skirt! I was traveling when I wore this outfit, and it was perfect and stylish for the airport, but super comfortable as well! Hope you're having a great week so far!

Neutral Love

March 23, 2014

Hey fashionistas! This is one of my favorite outfits that I've worn in a while- mainly because of the insane comfort level! (I mean, it's a sweatshirt and jeans) but also because of the certain level of girly that I was able to incorporate. The pink lips, nude ankle strap wedges, and a little bit of sparkle from my J.Crew necklace and Chicwish bracelet turned this weekend drab outfit into weekend fab!

I'm a teacher, so I can rhyme things, no questions asked.. okay? Hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Fall Fashion With LuLu*s | Weekend Wear

November 06, 2013

Hello everyone! I'm back again with my second post of four in the Fall Fashion With LuLu*s series!  For this post, I focused on weekend wear. I think it's a common misconception that women style jeans or sweat pants over the weekend to be at their most comfortable.  Sometimes we ladies like to jazz our weekend outfits up a bit!  Because I am very conservative at work, for the most part, I like to wear a more flirty length dresses during the weekend - however it's finally starting to cool off where I live, so I definitely needed a warm stylish camo jacket!  This jacket is so comfortable, and absolutely versatile. I'll definitely be wearing it many, many times this season! Besides, camo is one of this season's hottest trends, so it's a definite must for my closet. Vests, light jackets, and comfy sweaters are a great way to transition your summer and spring dresses into your Fall wardrobe!

Thank you so much for reading! Stay tuned for my next two posts in this series later this month!  Thank you so much for reading!

Lucky FABB Series: Day 2 Outfit

April 18, 2013

Wearing:
Top: Target (similar)
Skirt: Target (a summer must-buy!)
Belt: No Rest For Bridget
Bag: c/o Oasap
Watch: Michael Kors
Necklace: LOFT
Sunglasses: Prada

Oh, hello, Friday! It's been such a long week, but here is a fun, trendy outfit to brighten up your weekend! A few interesting points: this is a men's shirt. I specifically wanted it to be baggy and loose to have a very relaxed look. Let me tell ya, it looks amazing with boyfriend jeans and a cross-body coach (in cognac brown of course) but I wanted to make this shirt work with a more girly outfit. This is why I chose the brightest most feminine color and cut of skirt, then added a giant bow for emphasis. Of course, I just had to pair it with some bow toed heels to top it off.

The trick to getting a feminine waistline in a baggy shirt like this is adding the skinny belt- it offers some more shape to an otherwise very masculine top. To be honest, though, I wanted to be different at Lucky FABB especially. I feel like there are bloggers who play it safe because there are so many other bloggers that will be in the same space, but I really wanted to showcase my style and taste rather than throw on a dress and call it a day.  Up next is a recap of Lucky FABB day 2, and that will wrap up the FABB series... until next year!

Special thanks to my dearest, lovely, and talented friend Brittany LeSueur for taking these photographs! Have a lovely, lovely weekend. Thank you so much for reading!

Outfit Post: Camo/Stripes/Spots

Wearing:
Sweater: LOFT
Pants: Gap
Shoes: Nine West (they're so comfy!)
Bracelet: Macy's
Bag: Kohls
Phone case: J.Crew

You know, the nice thing about style these days is if you put together an outfit that is completely off the wall and doesn't seem like it goes together, you're considered a 'stylish' person. Taking risks are so much more accepted in the fashion world now, and I'm glad for it. Now, I definitely have my days of blue jeans and a classic, clean, white oxford blouse, but I feel that we are encouraged to take risks and let our clothes reflect our true personality. Quirky is the new 'in' thing. ;) This might explain why I'm wearing three different patterns in one outfit… maybe.

Thanks for reading!
