Hi ladies! Happy Thanksgiving week! I am taking some time to spend with family, and to appreciate all of the wonderful things I'm thankful for! Anyway, I wanted to share this darling outfit featuring a maxi dress from Avenle! I love that this dress is great for the summer months because it's a tank top and super flowy, but also for days that are a little chilly and call for a nice hot coffee! I paired it with a red cardigan and bright lip for this season! Have a lovely short week!

Hi ladies! Today, I've teamed up with Jacqueline of Stylin' in St. Louis and Jacy of Love, Lenore again to bring to you post #4 of our Mizzou Style Series! I styled a gorgeous Liberty Sage dress for this outfit. I know everyone else is bundled up, but I took these photos a couple of days ago when it was super warm and around 78 degrees out! I took advantage of wearing a sleeveless dress since it may be a while until I can do that again :) Here's to a win for the Tigers this weekend! MIZ!

I decided to be super chic with this one, and style my favorite J.Crew pencil skirt with a comfy, slouchy sweater! This outfit would be perfect to wear to a watch party or a restaurant to watch the game with friends! Here's to a win for the Tigers this weekend! MIZ!

Hello lovely ladies! Thank you for visiting Spotlight Weekly link-up! Today we are styling Fall hats as our trend! Wool hats are such a big staple for the season, and let's be honest, they're great for hiding that third-day-without-bing-washed hair! I styled my Nordstrom hat and a darling midi skirt from Sheinside.com! At an amazing price point of $22 this skirt is the perfect length and gives me a super slimming (and higher) waistline! Hello, lovelies! As many of you know the last day of school is near or has already passed for us teachers! We are celebrating this special time with a link-up dedicated to teacher style! However, we still appreciate you lovely ladies that are still students, work in fashion, or maybe work in the corporate world! So we named this link-up trendy teacher/office style… because work style doesn't have to be boring! It can be colorful, playful, and most of all trendy!

I chose to style a gingham top with my favorite Target sweater (this thing is super comfortable and majorly versatile) and tried out a denim pencil skirt from Old Navy, which I am surprisingly impressed with! We wear jeans on Fridays, but I felt a little fancier in my denim pencil skirt last week, yet it was still super comfortable! Finally, I stuck with the same colors for the most part- navy and pink is a classic combination!

I absolutely adore this dress. I originally bought it for a school event last May, and wore it that once, but haven't pulled it out of my closet since! I love that the vertical stripes are a nice change of pace from the ever present nautical horizontal stripe!

The lovely Jacqueline, of Stylin' In St. Louis, and I are starting a weekly link-up every Thursday! Her and I have bonded right away over having so many things in common! Not only are we both fashion bloggers, we're also teachers, AND we share the same Alma Mater! (MIZ!)

We've decided to name our link-up "Spotlight Weekly" to 'spotlight' some of our favorite trends/styles as well as some of our favorite bloggers (a few of them might be teachers too! ;) ). We would LOVE to have you link-up.
