Mizzou Style Series | Black and Gold

November 13, 2014

Hi lovelies! Happy Friday! Today, I've teamed up with Jacqueline of Stylin' in St. Louis and Jacy of Love, Lenore again to bring to you post #3 of our Mizzou Style Series! Whether you're a Tigers fan or another college team lover, you can cheer on your favorite football team in style! I decided to be super chic with this one, and style my favorite J.Crew pencil skirt with a comfy, slouchy sweater! This outfit would be perfect to wear to a watch party or a restaurant to watch the game with friends! Here's to a win for the Tigers this weekend! MIZ!

Mizzou Style Series | Asymmetrical Dress

October 23, 2014

Hello lovelies! I'm super excited to introduce a new style series for the Fall titled Mizzou Style! Two lovely Mizzou alumnae and myself are styling our favorite outfits featuring black and gold! I chose this darling dress from Liberty Sage. I love the hemline - it gives a flirty flair to a classic LBD. I styled it with a simple gold scarf and my Nine West leopard heels!

Ladies, not every football game you attend has to be watched wearing a boring jersey! Spice up your Fall football style with these fun outfit ideas! I love how Jacqueline of Stylin' in St. Louis and Jacy of Love, Lenore styled their outfits!

Today, the lovely blogger, Grace of Gracefullee Made blog and I have teamed up to share a fun collaboration we did with black and gold!  I love this color combo for many reasons, but what I love most is that they are the colors of my alma mater, the Mizzou Tigers! Black and gold remind me of the gold 'ol days when I woke up at 11 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for Spanish class, then went to an awesome Literature class where I got to talk about inspiring things I'd read and sip on lattes all the time.  Those days are long gone, but hey, at least today is Friday! Happy weekend, lovelies.
