Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 115: Stripes

November 11, 2015

Wearing: H&M long sleeve tee (so comfy and only $12.95) | Macy's puffer vest (super similar) | Similar pants | Nine West riding boots (similar) | Baublebar necklace (color: blonde marble) | Tory Burch Robinson Mini Tote c/o Shopbop

Hi loves! Thank you so much for visiting Spotlight Weekly today! This week is all about the stripes. I paired this super affordable striped tee with my favorite puffer vest of all time! It's from Macy's in the women's section (you know.... where your grandma shops?) but I never would have guessed to find such a trendy printed puffer vest there! It was a total steal too - I got it while shopping with my Nana during Black Friday one year. I paired the two prints with my amazing mustard pants. I am in love with these comfortable things. I plan to wear them with allll of my Fall sweaters in the coming weeks.

The lovely Jacqueline and I post our link-ups every Thursday! This week our theme is stripes! Or you can pick any fashion/beauty related post to link up! Come back weekly to visit us!

Plaid Poncho

November 08, 2015

Hi loves! Happy Monday. I'm sharing a Fall outfit featuring my favorite print mixing combo: stripes and plaid. This cozy scarf is one of the many I have in my winter collection! I just need the temps to drop a tiny bit more before I can start full force wearing one every day. It seemed like a no brainer to throw some brown riding boots and a brown felt hat to top off the look.

I love this striped dress from Old Navy not only for it's flattering shape, but also because it has a low scoop neck so I can pull it down to nurse my baby. We moms are all about practical chic. That's an official style term, right?

Have a fabulous rest of your day, and thank you so much for stopping by and reading!

Mrs. Casual

June 21, 2015

Hi loves! I'm posting this casual summer look that's EXCLUSIVELY from Old Navy because everything in their store this season is on point! This relaxed v-neck tee is one of my favorites. I may or may not own it in three colors/prints! Also, if you are like me and don't want shorts that are super mom-ish looking but want to dress your age, these 3.5 inch pull-on chambray shorts are perfect for summer! I feel modest but not frumpy in these, and they're super lightweight! Lastly, can we talk about these amazing cross-strap slides?! The snakeskin is right up my ally because no matter how hard I try, I can't stop buying this print... even if it is ever considered 'out' ;)

Okay, so that's my outfit, now hey all you moms and mamas to be out there! If you're on the market for a carseat canopy, then look no further! This piece that you see on my babe's Uppababy carseat is from Hemmed In, and not only is it an amazing, protective carseat canopy, but it also serves as a tummy time play mat and a nursing cover! Both of which I've taken advantage of many times! Anything that keeps my diaper bag from filling up with things that could serve multiple uses is a favorite of mine for sure! There are some super darling prints in store, and be sure to check out their Instagram because Wendy, the sweet lady behind Hemmed In, posts videos about the piece on Mondays! Thank me later ;)

Bloggers Who Budget | Stripe Love

April 19, 2015

Wearing: Motherhood Maternity maxi dress c/o (similar non maternity option here, and several linked below) | Old Navy denim vest | Tory Burch 'Miller' sandals | Dolce Vita bag c/o | Joyiia 'Sol' necklace c/o | InPink 'Spotlight Rhinestone' bracelet c/o

Hi loves! Today the #BloggersWhoBudget are back this month styling our favorite take on stripes! While black and white or navy and white are my favorite stripe combos, I decided to style this colorful striped Motherhood Maternity dress for a change. It is super lightweight, and very soft, so it makes this last month of pregnancy very doable and stylish! I paired it with a denim vest for a change since I feel like all I've been wearing lately is a maxi dress with sandals.

In other news, who was able to snag some Lilly Pulitzer for Target?! I found a few things online Saturday night, then was able to snag a couple things in stores Sunday morning!
I hope you had an amazing weekend. Be sure to check out the other girls' #BloggersWhoBudget 'Stripe Love' looks, and have a fabulous week!

March 18, 2015

Hello loves! This week my sweet blogger friends and I are styling our favorite outfits featuring stripes! I obviously had to opt for one of my maternity dresses, and I chose this fabulous one from Motherhood Maternity! I love the pink and blue color combo with this! I kept it minimal with nude accessories and a fabulous statement necklace!

This Rocksbox necklace is a particular favorite piece of mine right now! Have you ever heard of Rocksbox? It's an amazing jewelry service that allows you to pick your favorite pieces each month! Black, White, Stripe

March 01, 2015

Wearing: Motherhood Maternity dress c/o | Dolce Vita bag c/o | Express belt | F21 bracelets | Joyiia 'Sol' necklace c/o

Hi loves! Happy Monday! I have been wearing this comfy maxi dress nonstop. I cinched it with a gold belt and paired it with my favorite new, cognac Dolce Vita bag.  The bag is perfect for my Spring wardrobe, which is apparently approaching faster than I expected! The weather has been gorgeous here. Hope you sweet friends in the Midwest and East are staying warm in the snow though! If it makes you feel any better, I may or may not be sick of wearing dresses already :) and summer isn't even here yet! Anyway, have a fabulous day! xo.
