Winter Neutrals

December 28, 2014

Hi lovelies! I hope your holidays were fabulous. It's hard to believe that 2015 is upon us. The temperatures here have cooled off quite a bit now, but I'm sharing an outfit from last weekend - I was actually able to rock bare legs! I was excited, but also reminded of how I should probably lay in the sun next time it gets warm out :) I kept it simple with all neutral colors for this outfit starting with this gray dress. I love the vest and nude shoes with it that give it an edgy chic look. Can you spy my tiny little bump? It's popping out slowly but surely!

Spotlight Weekly Link-Up | Week 67: Faux Fur

November 19, 2014

Hi ladies! For this week's link-up theme we are styling faux fur. I chose to pair my comfy, furry vest with a striped shirt and leggings with my favorite Nine West boots. There are going to be lots of sales on boots this holiday season, so I may have to start adding to my giant boot collection. I swear, one can never own enough boots and booties for the Fall/Winter!

Jeggings: AEO (similar)
Vest: F21 (similar)
Boots: BP for Nordstrom
Belt: H&M
Watch: Michael Kors
Necklace: F21

This outfit post features the lovely hills of California. We started out in a little Danish village called Solvang, near Santa Barbara, then we toured the beautiful Firestone Winery in Santa Ynez. On the way home we stopped at Freebirds in SB for a world famous burrito-however, I had a quesadilla! It was delicious. I knew I wanted to dress a little warmer because it's usually cool and windy up near this area. I love the multiple shades of denim and the pattern of my faux fur vest! I know faux fur is a huge trend this season, but I've yet to see patterned faux fur vests :)  To add a touch of femininity to the outfit, I added my favorite bunched faux pearl necklace.
