Happy Monday! I'm featuring an outfit from one of my favorite new boutiques, Pitaya! This super trendy, amazingly priced store has so many great Fall pieces. I actually got to visit a location to pick out the pieces I wanted to share with my readers, and I had such an amazing experience. I was greeted by energetic, smiling (and super stylish) ladies who are so excited to have each of their customers come in! I was immediately smitten with every piece that caught my eye and knew right away that I'd have trouble picking just a few. As I shopped, a dressing room was reserved for me with all of my goodies. When trying on this outfit, I overheard some other customers who were also trying on clothes and they sounded like they were having such a great time shopping together and felt completely comfortable walking around the storye trying on their new items. I walked out of the dressing room with several of my outfits, and I was given such great feedback by both the other guests and the ladies who worked there! Everyone was so sweet and encouraging as I tried on each piece. I left feeling so good about the outfits I had purchased and my overall experience shopping at Pitaya! They have SIXTEEN locations across the U.S., so make sure to visit Pitaya.com so you can either shop their fabulous prices online, or get the same in-store experience that I did at a location near you!

Now, about this outfit... I knew that I wanted to style this faux suede skirt because of the endless ways I could picture myself wearing it! The look I wanted to achieve for this post was a 70's inspired look, so I opted for an olive green crop top (and contrary to what you may have been told, long sleeves are perefctly acceptable with short skirts or shorts!) and to add subtle print mixing, I paired them with my 'Juli' wedges from Sole Society. To top off my 70's inspired look, I needed a pendant necklace, and this gorgeous one from Margaret Elizabeth is just divine! How do you feel about the 70's trends for Fall? I can't say I am ready to rock bell bottoms just yet ;)

Bloggers Who Budget | Fall Trends for Less

August 24, 2015

Wearing: Nordstrom 'Lush' top (Runs big...I'm wearing a small!) | Forever 21 skirt (only 4.90$) | Tory Burch 'Thea' satchel (love this one!) | Zee Alexis booties c/o (love these too!) | Lemon Drop Boutique 'double v' pendant c/o | Michael Kors Watch | Jessica N Designs personalized hexagon necklace c/o | Karen Walker sunglasses from DITTO c/o (get your first month free with code: LIVINGINCOLOR)

Hey loves! The #BloggersWhoBudget are back this month styling our favorite Fall transition pieces under $75! Lucky for you friends, I"ve found some amazing deals! This top, which I've already styled sooo many ways, is only $42, and this skirt is FOUR DOLLARS. That's right - this staple, black, mini, pencil skirt is under $5 and comes in like 10 other colors. I find that these are my go-to when the seasons start to change, because these cotton skirts are lightweight, look great with booties, and can be paired with just about anything on top!

I've also developed a slight obsession with grey bags. I know that this Tory Burch style is sold out (it's from last year) but I'm in love with this tote in grey too. As far as I'm concerned, grey handbags are on trend, so make sure to find one that you love for the upcoming season ;)

Date Night Style With Rack Room Shoes

April 12, 2015

Hi loves ! Today I styled my Nine West 'Elodia' wedges via Rack Room Shoes for date night! There may not be many more date nights in our future for a while, so we got all dressed up and went to The Cheesecake Factory for an early dinner yesterday. I chose to style this fabulous Pink Blush Maternity dress with the glitter belt from Target to cinch my growing waistline!

I love these wedges because they're neutral and go with pretty much any outfit! This season, wedges, floral patterns, bright colors, boat shoes, embellished sandals, and casual comfy shoes are going to be super popular! Oh, and just so you know, Rack Room Shoes is known for it's every day "Buy One Get One 50% off" promotion on all styles, and with the Rack Room Rewards program, you can use lots of perks like discounts, coupons, and $15 in rewards for every $200 you spend! There's lots of fabulous brands sold, so be sure to check them out!

The Loren Hope bracelet was in my Rocksbox package this month, and it's one of my favorite pieces of jewelry! Have you ever heard of Rocksbox? It's an amazing jewelry service that allows you to pick your favorite pieces each month! Ode to the Midi

October 06, 2014

Happy Monday! I'm sharing a simple Fall-inspired look today! This is one of the first times I've tried the midi dress, and I must say - I'm smitten. I bought a couple this weekend because they are a stretchy material and I'm so excited to style them. I completed this look with some black booties, and my favorite Fall Fedora!

During the cooler months, I typically wear lots of dainty gold jewelry to go with my many layers. A giant statement necklace is sometimes too much. I've found that this darling bar necklace from MyNameNecklace.com is the perfect dainty edition to any Fall outfit! If you want a My Name Necklace of your own you can use the coupon code ELLE14 for 10% off your purchase of any jewelry from the site!

Have a fabulous day!

Bloggers Who Budget | Wedding Guest For Less

August 17, 2014

Happy Monday, loves! Today, the Bloggers Who Budget are back sharing our favorite "Wedding Guest For Less' looks all under $100. I chose to style one of my favorite dresses that is rather simple, but unique because of the asymmetrical neckline. I went one step further and added some Poppy Clips for a little contrast and character. Have you guys ever heard of these? I am fascinated with them... I have three different colors/styles and I can't wait to experiment! They are made to hold up your sleeves or pant legs, but I've seen some fashionistas use them in all kinds of inventive ways :)
