Happy Valentine's Eve! I'm posting this video/outfit post because this is the ideal thing I'd wear on a Valentine's day date! Now, don't get me wrong, I love the traditional pink and red outfits- but to be honest, there are times where I don't want to be gimmicky, and I'd rather go for a bit of class! In my opinion, the subtle pop of pink of holiday-ish enough for me! There's lots of gems sprinkled within this outfit. The first being this sequin shirt. I love how I can layer it, wear it on it's own. Dress it up with a skirt, or dress it down with dark denim! The second gem is this gorgeous skirt. I wore it last week with a denim shirt and loved how flowy and fun the outfit was… but it's so versatile that I can also feature it as a statement in this romantic outfit! Yes, it appears as though I've filmed another video- (just a disclaimer, even though the song mentions 'the sea' I am not on or near the ocean… so do not be deceived!) J filmed and edited this again, so a big thanks to him! As far as the outfit, I was feeling extra quirky in my glasses, and decided to embrace it fully- I am already huge on polka dots- they will probably be a major closet staple for me this Fall- just fyi…. you can see my last outfit video post here :)

On another note, Alicia Klein recently contacted me about styling a couple of their items in one of my posts! I was instantly super excited because this iPad case (used as clutch) is absolutely gorgeous, and the Cayenne color I picked out is perfect for the upcoming Fall season! The versatility of this piece makes it so completely worth it. It's just the right size to fit my phone, keys, and my darling Alicia Klein California Taxi Wallet.

I am also wearing some gorgeous jewelry from Poshlocket- I'd been eyeing a few of their pieces already but when a representative contacted me I was instantly giddy! There were so many great pieces to choose from,  but these bangles have been stuck to my wrist since I received them in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Talk about jewelry staples! Yes, yes, I know. You didn't picture me being such a nerd in real life, but this is my attempt at running around demonstrating different aspects of my outfit. Now, be nice, because this is my first time making a video. Ha, but my lovely and talented guy actually filmed and edited it! Anyway, I love the peplum trend, and decided to spruce up this basic outfit with my favorite go-to piece… my Mad Men trench from BR. Besides, it also adds that pattern-mixing popularity that I happen to be very fond of too.
