Peachy

January 27, 2014

Happy Monday, lovelies! I hope you had a lovely weekend.  It's hard to believe this is the last week in January, and Valentine's is just around the corner. I'm starting to tire of Fall colors and palates... typically this happens as soon as February rolls around, so naturally I reached for one of my brightest pairs of pants.  It isn't too early for Spring thinking, is it?

Play Ball

January 05, 2014

So I hear there is lots of snow pretty much everywhere! Well, as you can see above, this is our weather currently, and I can't say that I'm complaining too much! The sun is shining, and it's a lovely 70 degrees out consistently! I even laid out over the holidays to catch some rays! Okay, I'll stop bragging, but honestly, this outfit was one of my no-brainers that turned out to be a favorite. The gold and blue is a fun combination that really pops against the fun teal wall we found in the city after our brunch!

I am also parting my hair in the middle which has not happened since I was in 2nd grade, so it is pretty exciting to have something different without doing much. We'll see how long it lasts.  Happy Monday everyone!

Outfit Post: Perfectly Plaid

November 07, 2012

 Wearing:
Top: Target (love this one or this one)
Skirt: Gap (love this one!)
Heels: Tahari via Macy's
Bag: Vintage Station Coach
Watch: Michael Kors
Bracelet: Macy's
Faux Pearls: Forever 21

I'm still waiting for it to cool off around here, but I must admit I am super thankful to live in a place where natural disaster is at a minimum. My thoughts are definitely with all of my East Coast friends and bloggers who are suffering the repercussions of Hurricane Sandy. If you follow me on other social networking sites you know that we had a mini 'natural disaster' of our own this past weekend. Anyway, things are slowly going to get back to normal.

This outfit was a no brainer- I love when that happens! The subtle print mixing and difference in texture  (the shirt is flannel, and skirt is cotton) made this ensemble super comfortable and as close to a 90 degree fall outfit as you can get. I've had this shirt for a year now… I wasn't sure how to top the first way I styled it… see those photos below. Granted, I lived in a completely different climate this time, last year, I will always love this outfit- (click here to see full outfit post featuring these photos below!)

Outfit Post: Oxblood + Camel

November 01, 2012

Wearing:
Polka dot Sweater: Old Navy (similar)
Pants: Banana Republic (love these)
Shoes: Target
Glasses: c/o Firmoo
Monogram Necklace: Baublebar (similar)
Bag: Vintage Coach
Watch: Michael Kors (love this one for fall)

With the recent oxblood rave I decided to pair a classic polka dotted sweater (a super cheap J.Crew knockoff) from Old Navy with my new denim from Banana Republic. This color surprisingly looks great paired with almost any other color, however the camel+black is my favorite so far. If only it was cold enough to add a scarf, boots, and a coat I'd be a happy camper. Soon, though!

Anyway, my glasses are from a trendy online eyewear company called Firmoo. Here's a little more about them:
