I'm still waiting for it to cool off around here, but I must admit I am super thankful to live in a place where natural disaster is at a minimum. My thoughts are definitely with all of my East Coast friends and bloggers who are suffering the repercussions of Hurricane Sandy. If you follow me on other social networking sites you know that we had a mini 'natural disaster' of our own this past weekend. Anyway, things are slowly going to get back to normal.

This outfit was a no brainer- I love when that happens! The subtle print mixing and difference in texture  (the shirt is flannel, and skirt is cotton) made this ensemble super comfortable and as close to a 90 degree fall outfit as you can get. I've had this shirt for a year now… I wasn't sure how to top the first way I styled it… see those photos below. You know- This outfit is from a while ago, and I've yet to share it! Also, I'm not sure what my feet are doing in the last picture, but I liked the angle and the interesting face I'm making, so I went ahead and included it. Sometimes a blogger's pictures aren't always going to look like she did a full-on fashion photo shoot every day…and that's okay. I'm cool with awkward, unnatural poses, because that's how life is sometimes, awkward, unnatural and stressful. Speaking of… it's been an interesting weekend. I did a lot of fun things and felt an equal amount of stress for particularly no reason other than anticipating the week ahead of me. Nonetheless, I'm ending my weekend by posting this minnie-mouse inspired outfit (this was completely accidental, I swear) The pants are actually burnt orange, not read, and I really love them. They're super comfortable and I'm starting to get brave and pair them with more than just black or neutral colors. Thanks for reading loves.

A last summer 'hurrah' outfit before I bring my Fall wardrobe into full swing- the temperatures are still pretty high, so I couldn't justify wearing this sweater…but it happened anyway. The lovely people over at Sheinside offered to send me a few things, and this is one of the pieces I chose- a white dress is perfect for any season! It can be worn by itself with some cute accessories for summer, and can be layered up and paired with some boots for the colder seasons! On another note, I've developed a knack for the classic Coach purse- I'm not a fan of the lettering or anything on the more modern versions, but a good 'ol classic Willis Coach bag is just to die for.
