Hair Tutorial | Double Side Braid Three Ways

Today I'm sharing one of my go-to hair styles for my 4 day unwashed hair. Braids are deceiving in that they can seem like they are a time-consuming endeavor; but t's easily become one of my weekly hair styles. I love that each of the three styles offer a completely different look and you can take them from day to night with ease!

I've been wanting to share some of my braids with you for SO long! I am glad I can finally sit down and take the time to film and publish a hair tutorial. Please let me know if this video was easy to follow/hear/see, etc, and if not I'll update with your tips and criticisms for the next video!

Why Living in Color?

In place of an outfit, I've decided to share with you some fun, top secret information. I'm always interested in how different bloggers decide to name their blog and why they choose that specific name. I've decided to share that with you the inspiration behind why I named my blog "Living in Color". It's a simple, short explanation. I think that "Living in Color" means something different to each and every person. For me it is living my life to it's fullest potential and enjoying every ounce of beauty along the way. (That's the short version.) But, this song by one of my favorite bands, Frightened Rabbit, is the inspiration behind the name of my blog. I think of it as sort of an anthem-it's very upbeat, hopeful, and encouraging. p.s. I changed my hair color slightly this past weekend, and I can't wait to share it with you all! I think of it as a subtle change, but everyone who's seen me so far claims it is a very significant one. Come back to visit so you can see :)
