LuLaRoe | Three Ways To Style The 'Julia' Dress

June 14, 2016

*Thanks to LuLaRoe Melanie Amador for sponsoring this post.
Hi ladies! Today I'm sharing a fabulous dress for all women, teachers, mamas, professionals... you don't want to miss this post! Not sure how many of you have heard of LuLaRoe, I've posted about it a couple of times here and here, but today I'm styling a gorgeous style of dress called The Julia.

This dress offers so many amazing qualities. It's long, for those who wish to dress a bit more modest, but can be pulled up a bit to show some skin too. It hugs in all the right places. I also ADORE the sleeves. They make this dress in a jersey top pattern, and I seriously need one so bad! Lastly, the material is super soft. It's stretchy, airy, and so thin for summer. I love layering with this dress too! Be sure to check out the three ways I styled these two dresses below!
Style 1: Layered & Pulled Up
Wear a Julia with a vest, or jacket! This dress looks darling layered. You can try it out with a utility vest, or denim vest like the one I wore above. I also styled mine with a jean jacket when I went for a walk on the pier last week; it was super windy.

Check out the picture that shows all three of the styles again above... You'll notice this dress is pulled up and folded under near my mid-section to hide some fabric and make it a little shorter.
Style 2: With sandals, a bold lip, and pulled down
I chose to have the Julia be a normal length for this outfit because I wore Grace for a majority of the day... I love dresses that are longer for babywearing, because I don't have to worry about my business hanging out!

I also paired this statement floral Julia dress with a bold lip color. Love this Jane Iredale lip stain!
Style 3: Put A Hat On It
It's no secret that I'm a self-proclaimed hat lady. I love a good hat with any outfit, pretty much, but this felt hat with my patterned Julia dress is just a home run in my book! No brainer; an easy, stylish, mom-friendly outfit.
Wearing: LulaRoe Julia dresses c/o LuLaRoe Melanie Amador (I'm wearing a size XS, and I'm 5'7" for reference!) | Target sandals (only $19.99) | Bag | Vest | Hat

LuLaRoe Love | GIVEAWAY!

February 08, 2016

Hi beauties! I'm not sure what the weather is like in the rest of the country, currently, but it's been super warm here! Naturally, I pulled out my resort clothes including my trusty Panama hat! We've been spending so much time outside, and I love it. It feels like summer, literally!

This past weekend, I planned my outfit around this LuLaRoe skirt, which is seriously the most amazingly comfortable piece I own right now! The material feels like a cotton t-shirt, but it is fitted at the waist and flairs out perfectly. This skirt is more comfortable than my sweat pants! I paired it with a simple v-neck and my go-to summer sandals this time, but also see myself wearing a striped top and leopard heels for a night out.

I've mentioned LuLaRoe before on the blog, but wanted to quickly explain why I couldn't link to the exact piece. LuLaRoe is basically a company like Avon or Mary Kay in that you can't just go online and purchase, but you have a complete shopping experience through a consultant! One of my favorite consultants (and the reason I have this cute skirt) is Amber, and she is SUCH  a sweetheart! Amber hosts lots of fun giveaways for clothes, and can even do an online party for you and all your friends to shop virtually! They only make 1,000 of each print, so I don't have to worry about every girl in the country wearing the same thing as I am, and their clothing fits SO well. I have seriously become addicted. The fit of each type of item is very consistent, so once you know your sizing you can shop your favorite prints, and take comfort in the fact that it will fit you and look amazing!

If you're interested in joining Amber's Facebook group for click here and it will redirect you to her page!

I'll be posting a giveaway tonight for one of my readers to win a $40 credit to Amber's LuLaRoe shop too, so stay tuned and check out my Instagram tonight!

I hate to keep posting such Spring-y outfits, especially with all the snow back East, but I think I'm just super in love with all of my new dresses! This is a LuLaRoe 'Julia' dress, and seriously, I put this thing on, and the fit is PERFECT. It hugs in all the right places and is long enough for this modest mama. The only thing I wish is that it were more nursing friendly!

The lovely Jacqueline and I post our link-ups every Thursday! This week our theme is a free week or you can pick any fashion/beauty related post to link up! Come back weekly to visit us!

Bloggers Who Budget | Workwear for Less

January 17, 2016

Happy Monday! I am so excited to share this outfit with you, mostly because I have discovered a whole new world of clothing this past week, and it's been sooooo enlightening! Hands up if you've heard of LuLaRoe?! It's this awesomely exclusive line of clothing that's sold only by consultants! Think Mary Kay and Origami Owl. Basically you have to find a consultant and they post inventory on their VIP page, or you can host a pop-up shop at your house (much like tupperware parties haha) to have people shop with you!

LuLaRoe features so many different items too. This is the Amelia dress and it comes in several prints and colors but the same style. I'm wearing an XS for reference, and I'm usually a size 4 dress size! They also have super cute and comfortable pencil skirts for work, cozy leggings for days off, and very flattering tops for all body types. I am seriously so in love. I'm not even getting paid to tell you this, I kid you not, I've been searching everyone's VIP page for my DISO legging print (DISO is 'desperate in search of' in case you didn't know ha!)

I paired this beautiful Amelia dress with my gorgeous necklace turquoise beaded choker necklace from Sterling Forever. Fun fact, this necklace is inspired by a Tiffany's one that Cate Blanchett wore this necklace to the Oscars one year! *cue the heart eyes* I am obsessed with the vibrant color and gorgeous bead detailing that truly completed this outfit! If you want one of your own they are in stock and ready to be worn!

Thank you so much for reading, and have a fabulously fashionable day!
