Happy Monday! I'm featuring an outfit from one of my favorite new boutiques, Pitaya! This super trendy, amazingly priced store has so many great Fall pieces. I actually got to visit a location to pick out the pieces I wanted to share with my readers, and I had such an amazing experience. I was greeted by energetic, smiling (and super stylish) ladies who are so excited to have each of their customers come in! I was immediately smitten with every piece that caught my eye and knew right away that I'd have trouble picking just a few. As I shopped, a dressing room was reserved for me with all of my goodies. When trying on this outfit, I overheard some other customers who were also trying on clothes and they sounded like they were having such a great time shopping together and felt completely comfortable walking around the storye trying on their new items. I walked out of the dressing room with several of my outfits, and I was given such great feedback by both the other guests and the ladies who worked there! Everyone was so sweet and encouraging as I tried on each piece. I left feeling so good about the outfits I had purchased and my overall experience shopping at Pitaya! They have SIXTEEN locations across the U.S., so make sure to visit Pitaya.com so you can either shop their fabulous prices online, or get the same in-store experience that I did at a location near you!

Now, about this outfit... I knew that I wanted to style this faux suede skirt because of the endless ways I could picture myself wearing it! The look I wanted to achieve for this post was a 70's inspired look, so I opted for an olive green crop top (and contrary to what you may have been told, long sleeves are perefctly acceptable with short skirts or shorts!) and to add subtle print mixing, I paired them with my 'Juli' wedges from Sole Society. To top off my 70's inspired look, I needed a pendant necklace, and this gorgeous one from Margaret Elizabeth is just divine! How do you feel about the 70's trends for Fall? I can't say I am ready to rock bell bottoms just yet ;)
