Remember my last outfit post when I went talked about outfits I'm most comfortable, confident, and happy in? Yeah, this is one of them. I crafted it without any inspiration from other blogs or pinterest. Something I like to take advantage of in order to maximize the versatility of a piece is layering. This is actually a dress from H&M, but I wore it as a skirt. However the skirt is actually too short for my taste and I layered another black skirt underneath to make it appear longer! What's that? You can't tell? Good- but it's a nice trick to keep in mind! Skirt extenders do exist, even if they're makeshift ones!
Also, this jean jacket is from way long ago… but it's one of the first pieces of clothing that I ever thrifted. You can imagine how proud I was- it cost me a whole $4. What was your first thrift find?! Do you still wear it?!
As always, thank you for reading!
xo.

ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! Especially with the bow and the thigh-high socks. :)
ReplyDeleteI do dress layering as well! :) When I feel my dress is too short, I wear a miniskirt underneath. You don't necessarily see it, but I can lift my arm or reach up without showing too much of my thigh! :)
