Currently Obsessed: Covet Fashion

Happy Saturday, Fashionistas!  Today I want to share with you one of my favorite weekend past times.  An app on my phone called Covet Fashion by Crowdstar.  Covet Fashion is an online, virtual fashion game where you can create your own virtual closet, shop for clothes in that closet, and finally create gorgeous looks with the clothes you purchase.  One of my favorite things about the app is that you can shop real live items that can also be purchased in real life!  The stores in the Covet Fashion app feature some of my favorite  brands such as Rachel Zoe, French Connection, RebeccaMinkoff, Three dots, and Torn by Ronny Kobo.  Let’s just say I own multiple Rebecca Minkoff bags in my Covet closet {something that I wish would happen in real life of course!}  Here are some of the looks I’ve created through my Covet closet.

I have such a blast when I go shopping on the app because I am potentially buying things that I’d like to own in real life, and I can see the many ways to style the item before forking over the money to purchase it. Rachel Zoe is actually the very first style ambassador for Covet Fashion, so there are some amazing pieces to shop.

Since around 250 million other fashionistas that play Covet create looks, you can actually connect with them and see what they’re styling by voting on their looks.  I love seeing how other people style a different piece that I may own because it gives me great ideas.  Sort of like reading blogs, right?  Here is one of the looks I voted on recently:

Something else I enjoy doing is entering contests to win prizes.  For example, I created this look below, entered the contest, “Shopping on Rodeo Drive” and people got to vote on my look.  I  found out a couple of days ago that I won the contest, and then received a free new item of clothing as a prize in my closet!  A darling printed poncho…perfect for Fall! It doesn’t get any more fun than that, right?  Here’s the look I entered:

Here are the step-by-step directions on how to play!

1. Shop!

2. Collect your daily ticket allowance when you earn them.

3. Use your tickets to enter Events (these are the style challenges I mentioned above where your look will get a vote, and you can win awesome prizes!}

4. Vote on looks so you can earn tickets.

5. Shop so you can have an awesome high closet value.

6. Keep entering events because this increases your Style Score.
